Going Green Program
"The easiest pollution to deal with, is the pollution that you don't create."
What is Green?
Green is using the fewest, most sustainable resources, to produce an outcome with no waste or by product. Green initiatives that produce this outcome is using green to its fullest capability. Green is also assessing your waste. Waste is often described as anything that goes into the dumpster, down a drain, or up a chimney. The reduction, reuse, recycling and converting waste to a resource is green. There are two starting points: look at what comes into your facility and look at what goes out.The concept of "Going Green" may be easy, the practice is the challenge. MVATC can help.
What is Sustainability?
Sustainability is a process that can be carried out over and over without negative environmental effects, such as air and water pollution, solid waste, and biodegradation which lead to larger, global problems including climate change and destruction of natural resources.
